31:12. அவர்கள் அவைகளை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தினபின்பு, அவைகளிலே காணிக்கைகளையும், தசம பாகத்தையும், பரிசுத்தம்பண்ணப்பட்டவைகளையும் உண்மையாய் எடுத்துவைத்தார்கள்; அவைகளின்மேல் லேவியனாகிய கொனனியா தலைவனும், அவன் தம்பியாகிய சிமேயி இரண்டாவதுமாயிருந்தான்.

31:12. பிறகு ஆசாரியர்கள் காணிக்கைகளையும், பத்தில் ஒரு பாகத்தையும் கர்த்தருக்கு மட்டுமே கொடுப்பதற்கென்று இருந்த மற்றப் பொருட்களையும் எடுத்து வைத்தார்கள். இவ்வாறு சேகரிக்கப்பட்ட அனைத்தும் ஆலயத்தின் சேமிப்புԔஅறையில் வைக்கப்பட்டது. இவற்றிற்கு பொறுப்பாளனாக கொனனியா என்ற லேவியன் இருந்தான். அவனது தம்பியாகிய சிமேயு இரண்டாவதுநிலை பொறுப்பாளனாக இருந்தான்.

31:12. they brought in the contributions, tithes, and consecrated items that had been offered. Konaniah, a Levite, was in charge of all this, assisted by his brother Shimei.
